Spring Is Late This Year: Prince George's Baseball Game Against CCBC Dundalk Postponed On Tuesday

LARGO, Md. – The Lowen & Navarro album Pendulum can best describe the feeling of Prince George's Community College baseball after the weather forecast has postponed the squad's Maryland Junior College Athletic Conference (MD JUCO) game against CCBC Dundalk, originally scheduled for Tuesday at PGCC Baseball Field.

On Monday (today), it felt like a spring day and it definitely "looked like sunshine," but Tuesday we will "feel like rain" with the weather forecasting a mix of rain and snow so the Owls baseball home game against CCBC Dundalk has been postponed due to the weather.

It's the way the baseball season has gone so far that "its not that long I don't remember, we have been done this road before. On a Pendulum, back and forth and the heartache comes. On a Pendulum" because Prince George's has had five dates postponed due to weather this season.

Despite the weather, the Owls "are going to keep their chin up and hold their heads way up high. We are going to keep ourselves together, at least we are going to try."

Prince George's, who has rescheduled the contest against CCBC Dundalk for April 2, is scheduled to host the College of Southern Maryland in a doubleheader on Thursday. First pitch is 12 p.m. The weather could be a factor in this doubleheader, but "we are anxiously expecting spring, but winter keeps continuing. Waiting is the most because spring is late this year."
