Updated: Prince George's Baseball Games At CCBC Essex And Harford Postponed

LARGO, Md. – The Prince George's Community College Maryland Junior College Athletic Conference (Maryland JUCO) baseball opener at CCBC Essex, originally scheduled for Tuesday, has been postponed due to field conditions and the weather forecast. Makeup date and time to be announced.

UPDATE: The Prince George's Community College baseball game at Harford, originally scheduled for Wednesday, has been postponed due to field conditions. The two teams will now square off on Apr. 24 at 6:30 p.m. in Bel Air.

The Owls (3-1) are coming off a doubleheader sweep of Howard University Club on Saturday. The Largo team won the opener 23-2 and then took the nightcap 33-0. Dylan Irizarry (Statesboro, Ga./Statesboro) hit a homer and drove in six runs in the opener while O'Neal Torche (Jersey City, N.J./St. Anthony's) had five RBIs in the nightcap. Austin Adams (Atlanta, Ga./Whitewater), Josh Pietrandrea (Woodbridge, Va./Woodbridge) and Vinny Rotundo (New York, N.Y./Middletown) each posted five RBIs, and Tommy Petrosino (Jersey City, N.J./St. Anthony's) added four RBIs in the sweep.

Prince George's will now open Maryland JUCO play at CCBC Catonsville on Thursday. First pitch is 3 p.m.
