Prince George's Baseball Adds Doubleheader Against Howard University Club Team For Saturday

LARGO, Md. – The Prince George's Community College baseball team has added a doubleheader against the Howard University Club team on Saturday. Game one first pitch is set for 12 p.m. from the PGCC Baseball Field.

The Owls (1-1) opened up the season with a twinbill split against SUNY Orange on Feb. 24. Freshman Josh Pietrandrea (Woodbridge, Va./Woodbridge) paced the team with a 4-for-7 performance with four runs scored and three RBIs. Sophomore Bay To (Philadelphia, Pa./Neumann-Goretti) went 4-for-8 with five runs scored and an RBI. Naquan Holden (Brooklyn, N.Y./Perkiomen) added a hit, three runs scored and two RBIs. Tommy Petrosino Jr recorded three hits and three runs scored while Dominic Marquez (Long Beach, Calif./Jordan) notched three hits, two RBIs and a run scored. Vinny Rotundo (New York, N.Y./Middletown) added a hit, three RBIs and a run scored on the afternoon.

After the two games against the Bison, Prince George's will open Maryland Junior College Athletic Conference play at CCBC Essex on Tuesday. First pitch is set for 3 p.m.
