Men’s Basketball Climbs To #6 In Week One Rankings

Following a 2-0 start to the year which included an upset road victory over preseason #4 Northampton Community College, the Owls check in at #6 in the NJCAA Division III Men's Basketball Rankings. This is the highest ranking for Prince George's since appearing at the #5 spot after one week into the 2019-20 season.

Prince George's entered the year in the preseason rankings as the #8 program but proved they should be higher after two DIII wins to begin the season, a convincing 89-75 win over Northampton followed by another double-digit victory, an 83-72 final over Camden County in the Owls home opener. Prince George's began last year unranked before appearing in the polls after just one week of play, and climbed to as high as the #7 spot in weeks 13 and 14.

The Owls have just one contest this week, a home tilt against Washington Adventist University JV on Thursday, November 16th at 6 PM before they begin conference play on the road against Allegany College of Maryland the following week.
