Tremble Commits To NCAA Division I Fresno State

Recent Prince George's Community College graduate and All-American guard Jasir Tremble (Washington, D.C.) will be continuing his studies and basketball career at California State University, Fresno for the 2024-25 season, it was recently announced. Fresno State is located in Fresno, California and competes as a member of the Mountain West Conference (MWC).

Tremble wrapped up his second year in a Prince George's uniform this spring, finishing his career with over 1,000 points as he took home NJCAA Division III Second Team All-American honors. This past year Jasir was also named First Team All-Region, Region Tournament MVP, Honorable Mention All-Maryland JUCO, and was chosen as one of twenty-seven NJCAA men's basketball student athletes in the nation across all three divisions selected to compete in the 2024 All-Star Game.

Tremble seemingly caught the eye of the Fresno State coaching staff during the All-Star Game on May 18th which took place in nearby Las Vegas, Nevada where Jasir finished with 28 points, four steals and two rebounds, and was named MVP of the South All-Stars.

Fresno State's Bulldogs recently announced the hiring of Vance Walberg as the 20th head coach in program history on April 6th and revealed Tremble's commitment on June 10th.

Tremble joins a pair of other Owl sophomores from the men's basketball team who recently committed to continue playing at the next level as well in Justin Minor (University of The District of Columbia), and Deven Dowdie (Westcliff University).
