Women’s Basketball Stays Put At #12 In NJCAA Basketball Rankings

The National Junior College Athletic Association released their Week Two Rankings on Monday, November 20th which positioned the women's basketball team in the same spot as last week at #12. After a week off, the Owls record remained 0-1 as they prepare for their first matchup since their season opener took place on November 4th when Prince George's travels to Allegany College of Maryland for a 5 PM game on Tuesday, November 21st. The Division I Trojans enter Tuesday's contest with a 1-4 record, losing four straight after opening the season with a win.

The Owls find themselves in a familiar place among the rankings which has been common for the program ever since head coach Devin May took over the program in 2021, but also in unfamiliar territory as the team is searching for its first win of the year nearly three weeks into the season. An earlier cancellation by Camden County has delayed the Owls progress towards earning their first victory but the team is eagerly looking forward to their opportunity against the Trojans when they make their return to action after 17 days.
