Lady Owls #12 In NJCAA Week One Rankings
The Prince George's Community College women's basketball team checked in as the 12th ranked program in the season's first NJCAA Women's Basketball Division III Rankings. Following the team's loss to 9th ranked Northampton Community College in their season opener, and Prince George's second matchup being cancelled due to injury to the visiting team, a drop from the Owls #9 preseason ranking was expected.
The Owls are eagerly awaiting their next matchup which will come on the road against Allegany College of Maryland on November 21st, to prove they're a better team than the one who played in their first contest. Following November, the Owls will be busy with 9 games over the first 18 days of December to bring the team into winter break near the midway point of the regular season.
