• Marisse Chop notched her first career double-double against CCBC Catonsville in women's basketball action on Friday.
• Chop reached her first collegiate double-double thanks to a career-high 17 points along with 10 rebounds. The freshman made eight shots from the field and one from behind the arc to account for her career evening. She grabbed two offensive rebounds and eight on the defensive end to post 10 rebounds for the second career 10+ rebound game.
• She had a career-high 12 rebounds against the College of Southern Maryland on January 5. She has three double-figure point games this season including back-to-back games. She is averaging 15.5 points per game in her last two tilts.
• Trailing 9-1, the Owls scored the final nine points of the first quarter to take a 10-9 lead after one quarter. Chop had six points and Quatazia Johnson added a traditional 3-point play in the run.
• Johnson finished with nine points, four rebounds and three assists.

• The Owls return home to host Chesapeake College on Friday.
• Prince George's wraps up its home schedule against Garrett College on Saturday.
