Prince George's Women's Basketball Drops 78-59 Decision To Hagerstown

McHENRY, Md. – Prince George's Community College falls 78-59 to Hagerstown Community College in the first day of the McDonald's Basketball Tip-Off Tournament hosted by Garrett College in women's basketball action on Friday.

Marche Sisco (Fort Washington, Md./Friendly) paced the Owls (1-2) with 22 points thanks to 5-for-24 shooting from the floor, 5 of 13 from behind the arc and 7 of 9 from the charity stripe. The freshman also had six rebounds, four steals and three assists. It marks the second time in three games Sisco has scored at least 20 points in a game after registering 35 points and 11 assists in the season opener against Middlesex County College on Nov. 2.

Nehemie Vilain (Hyattsville, Md./Northwestern) and Quatazia Johnson (Hyattsville, Md./Northwestern) each added seven points in the contest. Aja Hale (Seat Pleasant, Md./Gwynn Park) grabbed a career-high 10 rebounds while adding four points and Marisse Chop (Cameroon/PSS Bafort) added a career-best six points off the bench.

Prince George's went into the locker room with a 35-33 edge, but was outscored 45-24 in the final two frames.

The Owls wrap up the McDonald's Basketball Tip-Off Tournament on Saturday against host Garrett College. Tip off is 1 p.m.
