Prince George's Women's Basketball Falls To Baltimore City

BALTIMORE, Md. – Prince George's Community College falls to Baltimore City Community College in Maryland Junior College Athletic Conference (MD JUCO) women's basketball action on Wednesday.

Misty Harewood (Oxon Hills, Md./Potomac) paced the Owls with 14 points, five assists and five rebounds. The freshman shot 5-for-13 from the field, 3 of 8 from behind the arc and 1 of 4 from the free throw line. Harewood has been the team's leading scorer since the New Year, averaging 16.5 points per game. She has scored double figures for the second-straight game, third time in four games and four times on the year. Harewood has dished out five assists for the second time this season and the second time in her last three tilts while she has reached at least five boards for the eighth time this year. The freshman is averaging 8.0 points and 6.2 rebounds per game this season.

Prince George's, who lost 85-27 on the night to the Panthers, return to action at home against Anne Arundel Community College. Tipoff is 5 p.m.
