  • Prince George's officially opens Maryland JUCO play at Harford on Tuesday.
  • The two teams will meet for the first time since the 2016-17 season. 
  • Prince George's opens conference play on the road for the fifth time in the last seven years.
  • The Owls are looking for a winning conference mark for the first time since 2016-17 when they went 7-5.
  • Prince George's played Hagerstown Community College and Garrett College in the McDonald's Basketball Tip-Off Tournament in a non-conference setting this weekend. 
THE LAST TILT
 
  • Prince George's lost to Hagerstown Community College 78-59 on Friday and to Garrett College 63-58 on Saturday in the McDonald's Basketball Tip-Off Tournament over the weekend. 
  • Freshman Marche Sisco paced the Owls in the two games with 22 points against Hagerstown and 34 points along with a career-high nine rebounds against Garrett. The freshman averaged 28.0 points per game in the tournament and has scored at least 20 points in three of the four games including a pair of 30-point performances. Sisco is averaging 240 points per game this season.
  • Freshman Aja Hale hauled in 10 rebounds against Hagerstown and a career-best 11 boards against Garrett. She is averaging 7.5 rebounds per game after grabbing at least seven caroms three times this season.
  • Freshman Nehemie Vilain registered seven points in both games on the weekend. Vilain is averaging 9.8 points per game.
  • Freshman Quatazia Johnson posted seven points on Friday while freshman Misty Harewood tallied seven points and seven rebounds on Saturday. Johnson is averaging 6.0 points per game while Harewood is averaging 7.5 points and 5.8 rebounds per game.
THE ROAD AHEAD
 
  • Prince George's treturns home for the next seven dates that takes the team into 2019.
  • The Owls will host SUNY Sullivan (Nov. 18), Hagerstown Community College (Nov. 28), Northern Virginia Community College (Dec. 4), Frederick Community College (Dec. 12), Butler County Community College(Dec. 14), Caldwell Community College and Techical Institute (Dec. 18) and the College of Southern Maryland (Jan. 4). 
  • After its game at Harford, the squad will have 57 days before its next road game at Howard Community College on Jan. 9.
  • Prince George's Athletics will be holding a Toy Drive during its games on against Frederick and Butler County. It will also hold an Ugly Sweater Contest during the doubleheader against Butler County.
  • The squad will have six home games and four road games in 2019.
