  • Prince George's continues its seven-game homestand with its first NJCAA Region XX Division III game against Butler County Community College.
  • The Owls will also play Anne Arundel Community College in region play to set up seeding for the NJCAA Region XX Division III Tournament hosted by Prince George's in February..
  • Prince George's have advanced to the Region XX championship game in three of the last five years and won the tournament in 2014.
  • The Owls have won the last three meetings in the series including a 74-61 decision last season.
  • Butler County comes into the contest 2-6 overall.
THE LAST TILT
 
  • Despite 20 points from Marche Sisco, Prince George's falls to Frederick Community College on Wednesday.
  • Sisco made six shots from the floor, two from 3-point land and six charity tosses to finish with her fifth 20-point game of the season. She has reached double figures in points in seven of nine contests. The freshman nearly had a double or even triple-double after registering a career-high nine steals along with seven rebounds and four assists. Sisco has posted at least five steals in seven of the nine games this year and has 17 in her last two games. She leads the team with 20.6 points and 5.6 steals per game.
  • Imani Andrews posted a career-high 12 rebounds after posting her first career double-figure rebound game with 10 boards against Northern Virginia Community College on Dec. 4. Andrews is averaging 10.0 rebounds per game in her last three tilts. Harewood has hauled in at least seven caroms seven times this year including a career-best 11 boards against Hagerstown Community College on Nov. 28.
  • Quatazia Johnson added eight points and has scored at least seven points in a game six times this season including a pair of double-figure games.
  • Misty Harewood hauled in eight rebounds in the 79-40 loss. Harewood has hauled in at least seven caroms seven times this year including a career-best 11 boards against Hagerstown Community College on Nov. 28. 
THE ROAD AHEAD
 
  • Prince George's continues its homestand against Caldwell Community College and Techical Institute on Tuesday. 
  • The Owls will close out the homestand in the new year against College of Southern Maryland on Jan. 4. 
  • The squad is in the midst of 57-straight days without a road game. The Owls were at Harford Community College on Nov. 13 and do not travel again until heading to Howard Community College on Jan. 9.
  • Prince George's Athletics will be holding a Toy Drive during its game against Butler County. It will also hold an Ugly Sweater Contest during the doubleheader against Butler County.
  • The squad will have six home games and four road games in 2019.
