  • Prince George's continues its seven-game homestand with a Maryland JUCO battle with Frederick Community College on Wednesday.
  • The Owls will be playing their first game in eight days.
  • Prince George's is looking for its first win of the season.
  • The two teams have split the season meetings in each of the last two seasons with the home team taking each tilt.
  • Frederick comes into the contest 5-2 overall and 2-0 in league play.
THE LAST TILT
 
  • Prince George's Community College had a strong start to the game and led going into the locker room, but Northern Virginia Community College had a strong second half to earn an 84-59 victory on Dec. 4.
  • Freshman Marche Sisco paced the Owls with 19 points, eight steals, six rebounds and five assists. The freshman notched her sixth double-digit point game and just missed her fifth 20-point game by one point. The eight steals are a career best while she had registered at least five thefts in five-straight games and six times on the season.
  • Freshman Nehemie Vilain added 15 points for her second-best point total after scoring 20 points in her collegiate debut for her second career 10-point performance of her career.
  • Sisco leads the team with 20.6 points per game while Vilain ranks second on the team with 9.4 points per game.
  • Imani Andrews, who had eight points and eight rebounds against Hagerstown Community College, notched a career-best 10 boards along with four points. Andrews has increased her rebound output in each of her last three games and is averaging 8.3 rebounds per game in this stretch and 7.3 rebounds per game on the year.
THE ROAD AHEAD
 
  • Prince George's continues its homestand against Butler County Community College on Friday. 
  • The Owls will also host Caldwell Community College and Techical Institute (Dec. 18) and the College of Southern Maryland (Jan. 4) during the homestand. 
  • The squad is in the midst of 57-straight days without a road game. The Owls were at Harford Community College on Nov. 13 and do not travel again until heading to Howard Community College on Jan. 9.
  • Prince George's Athletics will be holding a Toy Drive during its games on against Frederick and Butler County. It will also hold an Ugly Sweater Contest during the doubleheader against Butler County.
  • The squad will have six home games and four road games in 2019.
