Largo, Md. – The lady Owls lost a close one at home to CCBC Dundalk by a score of 64 to 65 on Friday, November 21. It was a nail biter for players and supporters alike that saw the Owls missing a shot at the final buzzer, which would have guaranteed the team a victory.

Jaida Jenkins showed up big once again for the Owls, scoring a game high 30 points and snatching 17 rebounds. Markaila Carter Chipped in with 17 points and a game high 4 assist. Brionna Bea and Precious Palmer led the way for Dundalk in points by scoring 21 and 15 respectively. While Hollie Booker grabbed a game high 21 rebounds and added 11 points.

Although the lady Owls had a tough loss on Friday the disappointment was short lived, as they were back to winning ways on Saturday and Sunday when they traveled to Westmorland and Butler County Community Colleges. The Lady Owls were more dominant in these games, beating Westmorland and Butler by a score of 60-41 and 68-37 respectively.

The lady Owls will look to add to their two game win streak on Tuesday, December 2, when they travel to face Bergen Community College. Tip-off is set for 5:00 PM.
