Prince George's Women's Basketball Falls In Patrick Henry Tournament Finale

MARTINSVILLE, Va. – Despite 26 points from Asisha Greene (Washington, D.C./Anacostia), Prince George's Community College fell 105-65 to Guilford Technical Community College in the Patrick Henry Women's Basketball Tournament on Sunday.

Greene, who posted 23 points on Saturday against Patrick Henry, shot 9-for-21 from the floor, 4 of 9 from behind the arc and 4 of 6 from the free throw line to finish with 26 points for her 11th career game with at least 25 points. The sophomore has registered double figures in points in every game she has played in her career and has registered 17 20-point performances.

Gina Seifert (Owings, Md./Northern) added 10 points in the contest for the Owls (1-2) and finished with seven rebounds. It marked the end of her consecutive 10+ rebound streak of eight straight dating back to last season. Imani Yates (Seatpleasant, Md./Friendship Collegiate) chipped in nine points, four assists and three rebounds in the loss.

Prince George's returns to action on Wednesday at home against Pennsylvania Highlands. Tipoff is 5 p.m.
