Big Offensive Output By Panton And Claros Powers Prince George's Men's Soccer Past Brookdale, 6-0

LARGO, Md. – Roshawn Panton (Bowie, Md./Eleanor Roosevelt), Edwin Claros (Adelphi, Md./High Point) and Erick Colindres (Hyattsville, Md./Parkdale) combined for six goals to power Prince George's Community College past Brookdale Community College 6-0 in non-conference men's soccer action on Saturday.

Panton registered a natural hat trick in a span of 23 minutes and seven seconds. Edwin Claros fed Panton three-straight times at 27:15, 45:52 and 50:22. It was Panton's third hat trick in his last five games and his first career hat trick. The freshman leads the team with 13 goals and four assists for 28 points.

Edwin Claros registered two goals and a career-high four assists and had a hand in all six goals on the afternoon. The sophomore scored at 4:46 off a feeder from Panton and unassisted at the 61:05 mark. He also posted four consecutive assists after finding Colindres at 12:19 and then Panton at 27:15, 45:52 and 50:22. Edwin Claros ranks second with 11 goals and a team-best nine assists for 31 points.

Colindres notched his third tally of the season while Jonathan Claros (Adelphi, Md./High Point) made six saves for the Owls (6-2) in the winning effort.

Matt Ribot turned away five shots for the Jersey Blues (3-4-1) in the loss.

Prince George's returns to action on Tuesday at Northern Virginia.
