Schwarzmann Named Region 20 Player of the Month

Vanessa Schwarzmann, a sophomore guard for the number 7 ranked Prince George's Community College Women's basketball team, was chosen as one of six student athletes honored as a Player of the Month for November across Region 20 programs. Vanessa averaged 21.6 points per game and hit 35 threes during the month which was good for first in the nation among division.

Schwarzmann was also previously named an NJCAA Player of the Week for week two after a 42-point performance against Camden County which included a 15-of-23 line from three-point territory. Schwarzmann's 42 individual points matched the team output by the Cougars in the Owls 66-42 victory. The full Region 20 release can be viewed here.
