Ogbankwa Named Region 20 Player of the Month
Prince George's sophomore Francis Ogbankwa was named the Region 20 Division III Player of the Month for October, it was announced by the Region on Wednesday, November 8th.
Ogbankwa had his most productive month as an Owl during October, recording 17 points which was highlighted by a hat-trick performance against Harrisburg Area during a 6-0 shutout win to kick off the postseason. Ogbankwa also had two other multiple goal games, netting a pair of goals each in an earlier matchup with Harrisburg and again later in the month on the road at Cecil.
Ogbankwa recently wrapped up his two-year career in an Owls uniform during which he started all 30 games at forward for Prince George's. He finished with 20 goals, including two game winners this past season.
