Prince George's Baseball Reschedules Road Game At Cecil For May 4

LARGO, Md. – The Prince George's baseball game at Cecil College, originally scheduled for March 16, has been rescheduled for Thursday, May 4 at 3 p.m. in North East, Md.

Cecil defeated the Owls 12-2 in seven innings on March 30 at the Prince George's Baseball Field. Harold Marte (Largo, Battlefield [Va.]) paced Prince George's with two hits and an RBI while Dakota McFadden (Largo, Md./Heide Trask [N.C.]) smacked his second home run of the season in the loss. Joe Bagnerise fueled the Seahawks with a 3-for-4 performance with three RBIs and a run scored while Kyle Prince tallied three hits, three runs scored and two RBIs in the winning effort.

Since the loss against the Seahawks, the Owls have won six of their last seven games and have gone 11-3 in their last 14 games in that stretch. Prince George's, who ranks No. 9 in the NJCAA Division III rankings, is coming off a doubleheader sweep against Division II's No. 17 Frederick on Saturday.

The Owls, who will play nine of their final 14 games at home, welcomes Anne Arundel to campus on Thursday for a 3:30 p.m. contest.
