LeVere Named Region 20 Division III Player of the Month
Prince George's Community College infielder Miles LeVere has been named the NJCAA Region 20 Division III Player of the Month for March. In 13 games for Prince George's during the month, Miles' batting average was .316 with a .469 on base percentage and slugging .474.
Miles helped guide the Owls to their first victory of the season on March 3rd, picking up a 12-4 victory over Cecil College as he scored two runs and added a stolen base. A week later against Cecil on the road, Miles had back-to-back 4 RBI performances as the Owls swept the Seahawks 10-9, 10-6. LeVere finished the month with one homerun, thirteen RBI's, three doubles, 4 stolen bases, and 13 total runs scored.
The Owls are back in action on Wednesday, April 27th when they host CCBC Dundalk in a rescheduled Maryland JUCO doubleheader. Game one is set to begin at 2 pm.
