Prince George's Track And Field's Milan Wall Continues To Garner Honors

LARGO, Md. – Freshman Milan Wall (Huntsville, Ala./Sparkman), a member of the Prince George's Community College track and field team, continues to receive honors after being named the Maryland Junior College Athletic Conference (MD JUCO) Track And Field Student-Athlete Of The Month Of April.

Wall was named the United States Track And Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) East Region Men's Track Athlete of the Year on May 11 and also took home USTFCCCA Men's Athlete of the Week on March 31 and Apr. 17. The freshman won the 400-meter dash at the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division III Outdoor Track And Field Championships on May 12 to become a national champion and a First-Team NJCAA All-American.

In addition to the recognition by the coaches association in the month of April, Wall placed third in the 400m at the Towson Invitational on April 14 with a time of 48.88. He also placed third in the 800m with a time of 1:58.46 at the Trojan Invitational on April 21 and anchored the Owls' 4x400m squad to a fourth place finish to help him earn the MD JUCO Track And Field Student-Athlete Of The Month honor.
