Prince George's Track And Field Participates In Prestigious Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Prince George's Community College men's 4x400-meter relay team finished third in the eighth heat at the prestigious Penn Relays on Friday.

DeVont'e McCree (Accokeek, Md./Gwynn Park), Milan Wall (Huntsville, Ala./Sparkman), JC Campfield (Washington, D.C./Eleanor Roosevelt) and Jose Vasquez (Riverdale, Md./Parkdale) teamed up to place third in the eighth heat of the 4x400-meter relay and 60th overall with a time of 3:31.88. 

Now in its 124th year, the Penn Relays is the oldest and largest track and field competition in the United States. The annual event is hosted by the University of Pennsylvania at Franklin Field in Philadelphia, Pa. Franklin Field was opened the same year as the inaugural Penn Relays in 1895.

Prince George's returns to action in one week at the Kehoe Twilight Meet hosted by the University of Maryland on May 4.
