Wall Finishes Third At Towson Invitational To Pace Prince George's Track And Field

TOWSON, Md. – For the second-straight meet, freshman Milan Wall (Huntsville, Ala./Sparkman) paced the Prince George's Community College track and field team after finishing third in the 400-meter dash at the Towson Invitational on Saturday. 

Wall, who won the 400-meter dash at the Danny Curran Invitational on March 31 to earn the United States Track and Field And Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division III Men's Athlete of the Week, placed third in the 400-meter dash on Saturday with a time of 48.88. His time was 0.72 seconds behind the winner from an NCAA Division I team while posting a personal-best time by 0.33 seconds.

Wall also ran the third leg of the 4x400-meter relay that finished in 15th place (3:32.72). Eddy Brown (Upper Marlboro, Md./Homeschooled) opened the relay before DeVont'e McCree (Accokeek, Md./Gwynn Park) ran the second leg and JC Campfield (Washington, D.C./Eleanor Roosevelt) closed out the race.

McCree (29th place, 53.43), Brown (30th place, 53.72) and Jose Vasquez (Riverdale, Md./Parkdale) (38th place, 58.51) also participated in the 400-meter dash while Kobe Cole (Plano, Texas/Plano) finished 19th in the 400-meter hurdles (1:04.22).

On the women's side, Destiny Barber (Suitland, Md./Potomac) placed 41st in the 400-meter dash (1:04.13).
