Men's Soccer Advance to the Division Playoffs

Men's soccer wrapped up their final regular season game on Saturday, beating Allegany College of Maryland by a score of 4-0. This was a much needed win for the Owls, as it guaranteed the team a third place seeding in the Division playoffs, while extending their winning streak to 4 games. More so, this win ensured the Owls will host their 1st round game to be played on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at 2:30 PM.

Mecardo Knight led the way for the Owls against Allegany with 2 goals and 1 assist. This makes him the top scorer for the Owls in the regular season with 10 goals and 4 assist overall. Joseph Adeoye was credited with the first goal of the game and Romario Chapman scored one of the goals of the season directly from a corner kick.

Goalkeeper Richard Lewis III earned the win, while snatching his third consecutive shutout. This will prove to be a confidence booster for the team defensively, as they have only allowed one goal in the last 4 division games.
