Owls knock off Howard

The Owls men are on a two game conference winning streak after edging Howard Community College by a 1-0 score line on Monday, October 20, 2014. Dominique Ligon was credited with the lone strike in the 24th minute from an Armin Lugonjic cross. This win puts the owls in a great position to capture one of the top four seeds for the conference playoffs if they can win their last two conference games against Potomac State and Allegany College of Maryland on Thursday and Saturday respectively.

A top four seeding will guarantee the Owls a first round game at home. This would give the team even more confidence going into the playoffs, as they have looked a better team as the season progressed.

With the last two conference games at home, the Owls hope to approach these games with a more attacking style of play. More so, over the last few games the team as scored 9 goals and have given up only 1 defensively.
