DaJuan McMillan Named Division 3 Men’s Basketball Player of the Week

Prince George's Community College men's basketball student athlete DaJuan McMillan has been named the Division 3 Player of the Week to open the 2022 season, as announced by the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) on Wednesday, November 9th.

McMillan, a sophomore guard from Washington DC, led the Owls in scoring with 20 points during the teams 76-72 upset victory over the previously ranked Northampton Spartans in Prince George's opener on November 5th. He also had 5 steals, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists in the Owls victory. McMillan finished 8 of 9 from the free throw line which was key in a close game that came down to chances from the stripe in the end. McMillan's efforts helped to move the Owls in the weekly rankings as well, elevating the unranked program to the #12 spot among Division 3 programs.

McMillan is the first Owls men's basketball student athlete to be named the Player of the Week since week nine of the 2019-20 season.
