A rematch of last year's opener, the Owls will look to avenge their 2021 loss with a win in front of a home crowd during head coach Terrel Harris' first game as the leader of the program. Harris, who spent the last two years as an assistant coach at Prince George's returns six players from last year's Region 20 Championship team.

This year's regional tournament will be held on the campus of Westmoreland County Community College in Youngwood, PA from Friday, February 24th through Sunday, February 26th where Prince George's will be looking to repeat as Region 20 champions for the first time since 2015-2016 when the Owls won back-to-back titles.
