Jo Ann Rogers Todaro Retires After 21 Years as Athletics Director

After over 40 incredible years of dedicated service to Prince George's Community College, Jo Ann Rogers Todaro has retired as Athletics Director. Her leadership, passion for student success, and tireless advocacy for collegiate athletics have left an indelible mark on PGCC and beyond.

Since becoming Athletics Director in 2004, Rogers Todaro has championed the academic and athletic success of student-athletes, with many earning NJCAA All-American honors under her tenure. Her unwavering commitment to excellence has elevated the College's athletics program and inspired countless students, coaches, and colleagues.

She has received several awards, including MD JUCO Athletic Director of the Year (2006, 2008, 2012), the NISOA/NSCAA Charles Lee Merit Award (2008), the NJCAA Mary Ellen Leicht Service Award (2018), 2022 George Killian Award of Excellence and 2024 Region 20 Carol Eustis Athletic Director of the Year. Additionally, she was inducted into the NJCAA Women's Soccer Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2024. 

The PGCC community congratulates Jo Ann Rogers Todaro on a remarkable career and thanks her for four decades of leadership, mentorship, and service. We wish her all the best in retirement!
