THE NEXT MATCH
 
  • Prince George's will play in back-to-back games on Friday and Saturday with the College of Southern Maryland playing under the Largo lights on Friday and then the Owls will travel to Cumberland County College on Saturday afternoon.
  • Prince George's Athletics will sponsor "Friday Night Lights Welcome Back Kickoff" during its match against the College of Southern Maryland. Cold Stone Creamery will be a part of the evenings festivities.
  • Prince George's will play back-to-back matches for the first time this season and will repeat the feat at Cecil College on Oct. 12 and then will host Northern Virginia Community College the next day on the Bermuda Field.
  • Prince George's has won the last two meetings against the College of Southern Maryland.
  • The College of Southern Maryland is 1-3-0 overall and 1-2-0 in league play while Cumberland County is 0-3 this season. Each team has played a team that the Owls have faced and defeated this season.
THE LAST TILT
 
  • Prince George's dropped a 3-2 decision at Harford Community College on Tuesday.
  • Freshman Ben Montague scored his first collegiate goal off a feeder from freshman Roban Boima. It was Boima's first career assist after scoring in the season-opener against Hagerstown on Sept. 4. 
  • Sophomore Moh Sherif found the twine off an assist by Atabong Atama. It was Atama's first career point while Sherif notched his four career goal after notching three tallies as a freshman. Sherif notched his first collegiate assist against the Fighting Owls as a freshman in 2017. 
  • Freshman Yoima Khan Torres turned away three shots while playing all 90 minutes for the first time this season. 
  • The squad has scored six goals in its last two games after posting one marker in the first three matches. The Owls lost for the first time this season when it has scored a goal and is 2-1 when it twinkles the twine.
THE ROAD AHEAD
 
  • After playing four of the first five games on the road, Prince George's will be at home for seven of its final 11 contests.
  • Following this weekends play, the Owls will welcome CCBC Essex (Sept. 25), CCBC Catonsville (Sept. 28) and Chesapeake College (Oct. 2) to town for a three-game homestand.
  • Prince George's will play eight games in Largo and eight games on the road this season.
  • The Owls have posted a winning mark both at home and on the road in the last five years. The squad holds a 29-15-2 mark at home and 36-19-1 on the road dating back to the 2013 campaign.
  • The NJCAA Region XX Division III Tournament will be hosted by Howard Community College.
