Rebstock, who will be attending Salisbury University in the fall where he will continue his playing career, mainly came off the bench last year and even initially to begin this season, but worked his way into the lineup as a starter and was a massive part of their historic success this year.
Schwarzmann will be attending Hampton University in the fall where she will also continue her playing career as a member of the Lady Pirates basketball team which competes as an NCAA Division I program in the Colonial Athletic Association. Schwarzmann was the Owls leading scorer this past year and was named an Honorable Mention All-American selection following the season.
The final department awards included the Athletic Partnership Award and Hype Man/Woman of the Year. The partnership award goes to an employee of the college outside the athletics department who has worked with us throughout the year to help assist our student athletes and programs on campus. This year's award was given to Barbara McCreary for her efforts to secure classrooms for each team to hold their mandatory study hall hours in her previous role as Continuing Education Coordinator. The final Hype Man/Woman award was new this year and was given to men's basketball head coach Terrell Harris for always lifting up the student athletes and being their number one fan throughout the year, regardless of the sport.
