Historic Year for Owls Athletics

Prince George's Community College and the Owls Athletic Department would like to thank all their student athletes for their level of commitment for a successful 2015-16 season. The Department would also like to congratulate all the student athletes that were recognized by National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) for their outstanding athletic performances throughout their respective seasons.

Prince George's Community College sports programs competes in the (NJCAA) Division III that involves upwards of 90 institutions based on the sport. Currently, the Owls have set an historic mark for the 2015-16 season by having 14 student athletes recognized as an NJCAA All-American. Coneisha Smith represented women's basketball and later joined the track team and received the award for both sports. Overall, this is the most All-American's the institution has had in one year dating back to the first ever nominee in 1967.
