Men's Basketball Makes Key Signings For 2016-17 Season

Largo, MD. - Since the hiring of Brian Johnson, a former assistant of the UMBC Retrievers, the buss about the 2016-17 men's basketball season is at an all-time high. Johnson inherits a program that has won three consecutive Region XX DIII Championships but fell short of making it to the national tournament all three years. With this, Johnson and staff are thrilled about the opportunity, and believes that the program is only a few steps away from getting to that milestone.

With less than four months to go before preseason, the staff is finalizing their recruiting class. To date, they have made major signings at key positions and believes these additions paired with some of their experienced returners should make a run at the 2017 National Championships.
