Owls Fall short in Double Header

The Owls baseball team are off to a slow start after playing their first game of the season in the middle of March due to inclement weather. All of the earlier regular season games for the Owls were either postponed, cancelled or the team had to play at a neutral site. This late start as affected the overall performance of the team. However, they have managed to maintain a .500 record considering two losing efforts in their last double header against top rivals Montgomery College. In the first game the Owls were held scoreless and lost 0-2 and in the second the Owls fell short with a final score of 2-3.  

Currently, the Owls are 6-6 and are looking to get back to winning ways on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 when they travel to face Harford Community College. The team believes this will be a great test to see the strides they have made over the last few weeks. After facing Harford in a losing effort 3 weeks ago for their season opener.

With exactly 20 games remaining in their regular season, the schedule favors the Owls. The team will play 11 of the 20 games at home and should use this advantage to build momentum going into the Region XX DIII Tournament.

The Region XX DIII Tournament will be hosted by Prince George's Community College from May 9-11.
