CCAC-Boyce Defeats Westmoreland County CC in Region XX Tournament

I nthe second game of the 2013 NJCAA Division III Region XX Women's Basketball Tournament the #2 seed Westmoreland County Community College fell to #3 seed CCAC -Boyce, 49-41. The two teams battled consistently throughout the game and played very competitive, neither team gaining a massive lead.

The heavy shooter of the game was Boyces sophomore guard, number 5, Jess Tarr with a total of 17 points.  She was 80% from the free throw line which greatly attributed to their 8 point win over Westmoreland.  Another strong player from Boyce was freshman guard number 32 Andrea Kaiser with 10 points, which included two 3-pointers. 

A key player from Westmoreland County Community College was sophomore forward, number 44, Kerri Zelenak with 12 points, who was 100% from the free throw line, where half of her points came from. 

With CCAC-Boyce defeating Westmoreland County Community College, they go on to play the number 1 seed the Montgomery College Raptors in the 2013 NJCAA Division III Region XX Women's Basketball Championship game.
