McHENRY, Md. – Despite 34 points from Marche Sisco (Fort Washington, Md./Friendly), Prince George's Community College falls 63-58 to Garrett College at the McDonald's Basketball Tip-Off Tournament in women's basketball action on Saturday.
For the second time this season, Sisco posted 30 points in a game and stuffed the stat sheet. The freshman narrowly missed a double-double on Saturday after finishing with 34 points, nine rebounds, seven steals, three assists and one block. Sisco shot 11-for-23 from the floor, 4 of 12 from behind the arc and 8 of 17 from the charity stripe. The freshman had 35 points and 11 assists in her collegiate debut against Middlesex County College on Nov. 2.
Misty Harewood (Oxon Hills, Md./Potomac) added seven points and seven rebounds while Nehemie Vilain (Hyattsville, Md./Northwestern) also scored seven points in the loss.
Prince George's returns to action and opens Maryland JUCO play at Harford on Tuesday. Game time is 5 p.m.
