Colin Jackson Named All-Maryland JUCO Honorable Mention

Colin Jackson, the Owls leading pitcher for the 2023 season, has been named an honorable mention selection to the All-Maryland JUCO teams, it was announced recently by the conference.

Jackson, who was also chosen as the team's Unsung Hero, finished the season as the Owls top performer on the mound. Jackson appeared in 12 games for Prince George's while throwing 54.2 innings during which he picked up 3 wins and also threw 3 complete games. One of Jackson's top performances of the year came in the Owls first postseason game against Allegheny County when he pitched the entire game, allowing just 1 run to score in route to earning a 5-1 win to give his team the first of two victories needed to win the Region 20 Division III title.

Jackson was the only Division III student athlete named an All-Maryland Juco selection. The full teams can be viewed on the Maryland JUCO website.
