Lady Owls defeat Tidewater

Hill finished the afternoon with 24 points, leading the team in scoring. Three other team mates joined her in double digits; Shanice Warren (16), Sabriena Shubert (12) and Jaida Jenkins (11). Jenkins and Shubert finished had double doubles from points and rebounds, 11 and 10 respectively.

Tanisha Cardwell displayed some great ball handling skills leading the team at the point while finishing with 7 assists and 2 steals. The Lady Owls combined shot 50.8% from the field and 100% from behind the arc. Prince George's more than doubled Tidewater's rebound totals, ending the game with 44 to their 21.

The Lady Owls are on the road this week at Lehigh Carbon on Tuesday and at the Louisburg Tournament Friday-Saturday. They will return home on Saturday, November 16 when they take on region divisional opponent Westmoreland County Community College at 3pm.
