We are one of only eleven teams still playing NJCAA Division III men's basketball.  This is a great accomplishment, she added.  "This team is filled with extraordinary young student athletes and has great leadership under Coach Xavier Joyner.  We feel very strongly that this team is a national contender."

The Owls have earned a berth into the District 7 Championship held February 28 to March 2.  Prince George's will travel to Region 17 to try to earn a trip to the nationals.
