Prince George’s Community College Athletics Announces Selections For Hall of Fame
Prince George’s Community College Intercollegiate Athletics is proud to announce the newest class of inductees into the Owls Hall of Fame, six individuals will be recognized as part of the Class of 2024.
2024 Induction Class:
- Kenny Eisiminger, Men’s Soccer (1982-1983)
- Will Gill, Men’s Basketball (2005-06)
- Allen Mitchell II, Men’s Basketball (1991-1993)
- Rebecca Preston, Women’s Basketball, Bowling, Soccer, and Softball (1997-1999)
- Asyja Smith, Women’s Basketball (2010-2011)
- Hector Vargas, Men’s Soccer (1995-1996)
After several postponements due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 Hall of Fame inductees will be recognized and celebrated during this year’s event. The 2020 Class includes:
- Debbie Alongi, Women’s Basketball, Field Hockey, and Volleyball (1973-1975)
- Donna Linkous Hager, Women’s Basketball, Softball (1978-80)
- Price Williams, Men’s Basketball (1990-1991)
- Dr. Bernie Smolen, Head Coach, Men’s Soccer (1979-1995)
These individuals will be forever enshrined into the Prince George’s Community College Athletics Hall of Fame during a special ceremony on Monday, May 6th, 2024 at Prince George’s Community College, Dr. Charlene M. Dukes Student Center Community Rooms A, B, C. The evening will include dinner, followed by an induction ceremony to precede the annual intercollegiate athletics awards banquet.
