Prince George’s Women’s Basketball Falls to Frederick on the Road

Prince George's women's basketball traveled to Frederick Community College on Wednesday evening, November 20th and were defeated by the Cougars, 97-73. Prince George's struggled defensively, allowing the Seahawks (6-1, 1-0) to put up the most points on the Owls defense so far this season.

The Owls (4-2, 0-1) fell behind early and found themselves trailing 55-32 at halftime. Prince George's was able to get things going offensively in both the third and fourth periods but the early deficit was too large to put much pressure on the Cougars.

The Owls have now lost two consecutive games after starting off the season with four straight wins. Prince George's will look to get back on track this weekend when the Owls return home to face Cecil College at Novak Field House for another Maryland JUCO matchup this Saturday, November 23rd. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 pm.
