  • Nehemie Vilain scored 17 points for Prince George's Community College against Garrett College in women's basketball action on Saturday.
  • The freshman shot 7-for-17 from the floor and 3 of 6 from the free throw line to notch her second-straight double-figure output of 15 points or more and her fourth of the season.
  • Vilain is averaging 16.0 points per game in her last two games and has posted all five of her top performances in front of the Novak Field House faithful.
  • Misty Harewood was a basket away from registering her second career double-double after finishing the game with eight points and 10 rebounds. It is the third this season the freshman has 10+ rebounds with two of the occasions coming against the two schools in Western Maryland JUCO.
  • The Owls best quarter was a 16-12 second frame thanks to seven points from Vilain. Harewood also had her best frame in the second, posting four points and six boards. Garrett defeated the Owls 72-37.
