THE NEXT MATCH
 
  • Prince George's faces its first road test of the season at the McDonald's Garrett Tipoff Tournament on Friday and Saturday.
  • The Owls will play a pair of Maryland JUCO teams in the tournament in a non-conference setting, starting with Hagerstown Community College on Friday and host Garrett College on Saturday.
  • Prince George's and Hagerstown will play again on November 28 at Novak Field House while Garrett comes to Largo on January 12.
  • This will be the first time the Owls will play these two teams since 2016-17. The Largo team defeated Hagerstown in that campaign meeting while the squad is looking for its first win against Garrett since 2014-15.
  • The entire tournament will be streamed through Garrett College's You Tube Channel (links above). There will not be live stats for the games, but we will update you with information when provided.
THE LAST TILT
 
  • Prince George's went 1-1 in its opening weekend with an 89-38 victory against Middlesex County College on Friday before falling to Jefferson Community College on Saturday. 
  • Freshman Marche Sisco made a splash in her collegiate debut with 35 points, 11 assists, five steals and two rebounds on Friday. She is averaging 20.0 points per game through two games.
  • Freshman Nehemie Vilain added 20 points against Middlesex. Vilain is averaging 12.5 points pert game this season. Sophomore Gia Thomas notched her first career double-digit point performace with 11 points along with eight rebounds on Friday.
  • Freshman Quatazia Johnson added 10 points off the bench, scoring six of those points in the final frame against Middlesex. She is avearging 8.5 points per game this year. Johnson posted all of her seven points against Jefferson in the fourth quarter and has 13 of her 17 points coming in the final stanza.
  • Freshman Misty Harewood led the team with a career-high 18 points on Saturday. Harewood ranks third on the team with 9.5 points per game.
THE ROAD AHEAD
 
  • After the tournament, the Owls will travel to Harford Community College on Tuesday.
  • Prince George's then returns home for the next seven dates that takes the team into 2019.
  • The Owls will host SUNY Sullivan (Nov. 18), Hagerstown Community College (Nov. 28), Northern Virginia Community College (Dec. 4), Frederick Community College (Dec. 12), Butler County Community College(Dec. 14), Caldwell Community College and Techical Institute (Dec. 18) and the College of Southern Maryland (Jan. 4). 
  • After its game at Harford, the squad will have 57 days before its next road game at Howard Community College on Jan. 9.
  • Prince George's Athletics will be holding a Toy Drive during its games on against Frederick and Butler County. It will also hold an Ugly Sweater Contest during the doubleheader against Butler County.
