Prince George's Women's Basketball Game At Garrett College Postponed Due To The Weather

LARGO, Md. – The Prince George's Community College women's basketball game at Garrett College, originally scheduled for Saturday in McHenry, Md., at 4 p.m., has been postponed due to a winter storm moving through the area in the next 24 hours. No makeup date announced. The men's basketball game between the Owls and Lakers is still scheduled to tip at 6 p.m. in Western Maryland on Saturday.

The Prince George's women's basketball team is coming off a loss at Anne Arundel on Jan. 5. Sophomore Gina Seifert (Owings, Md./Northern) paced the Owls with 25 points and 15 rebounds against the Riverhawks.

Prince George's returns to action on Wednesday at home against Howard Community College. Tipoff is set for 5 p.m. The night will be Kid's Night Out with any Prince George's County students K-12 attending the game will be admitted free along with their families to the doubleheader against the Dragons. Any students that come to the game will receive a free gift courtesy of Prince George's athletics.
