Prince George's Women's Basketball Falls To Westmoreland County In Final Game In Western Pennsylvania

YOUNGWOOD, Pa. – Prince George's Community College women's basketball drops a 64-47 contest to Westmoreland County Community College in National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division III Region XX women's basketball action on Saturday.

Gina Seifert (Owings, Md./Northern) paced the Owls (4-3) with 23 points and 18 rebounds. The sophomore connected on 7-for-17 of her shots from the floor and 9 of 12 from the foul line to notch her third-straight 20-point performance, fourth of the season and fifth of her career. She posted her sixth double-double in 2017-18 in seven games and 14th in her two-year career. She posted 20 points and at least 16 caroms in the three games in the week while averaging 23.3 points and 17.3 rebounds per game in that span. Seifert added three steals and two blocks on the afternoon.

Rickkia Jackson (Washington, D.C./Ballou), who recorded a career-high 11 points against Butler County on Friday, posted eight points and a career-best 14 caroms on Saturday. Imani Yates (Seat Plesant, Md./Friendship Collegiate) chipped in nine points in the loss.

The Wolfpack outscore the Largo program in all four quarters by the scores of 17-13, 14-11, 20-16 and 13-7 to earn the 64-47 victory.

Prince George's Community College returns to action after the Thanksgiving holiday against Cecil on Nov. 29. Tipoff is 5 p.m.
