Wall Wins 400-Meter Dash At Danny Curran Invitational To Power Prince George's Track And Field

CHESTER, Va.- Milan Wall won the 400-meter dash to pace the Prince George's Community College track and field team at the Danny Curran Invitational hosted by Widener on Saturday.

In his collegiate debut, Wall won the 400-meter dash with a time of 49.21, 0.61 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher.

The Owls 4x400-meter relay (3:28.66) finished fifth. DeVont'e McCree (Accokeek, Md./Gwynn Park) (21st place, 53.73), Edwin Brown III (Upper Marlboro, Md./Homeschooled) (26th place, 54.19) and Jose Vasquez (Riverdale, Md./Parkdale) (46th place, 1:00.63) also participated in the 400-meter dash while JC Campfield (Washington, D.C./Eleanor Roosevelt) (35th place, 24.11) and Vasquez (46th place, 1:00.63) ran in the 200-meter dash.

On the women's side, Mikela Robinson (Manhattan, Kansas/Manhattan) finished 12th in the 100-meter dash (13.50) and 21st in the 200-meter dash (28.10) while Destiny Barber (Suitland, Md./Potomac) placed 17th in the 200-meter dash. 

Prince George's returns to action at the Millersville Metrics on April 7.
