Prince George's Men's 4x800m Relay Finishes Third At NJCAA Division III Outdoor Track And Field Championships

COLUMBIA, Md. – The Prince George's Community College men's 4x800m relay team started the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division III Outdoor Track And Field Championships with a third-place standing on Thursday. The three-day event is hosted by Howard Community College in Columbia, Md.

Edwin Brown III (Upper Marlboro, Md./Homeschooled) opened the relay and was followed by Christy-Morel Andjalepou (Washington, D.C./Cardozo Education Campus), Ari Wilson (Clinton, Md./Charles Herbert Flowers) and Baladji Diakite (Upper Marlboro, Md./Largo) to finish with a time of 8:21.78 to place behind Kingsborough (8:02.48) and RC-Glouchester CC (8:16.34) in third place and earn a spot on the medal stand.

Ashley Wilson (White Plains, Md./Princess Anne) was scheduled to compete in the long jump on Thursday, but due to the inclement weather the event was postponed and rescheduled for Friday.

Both the Owls men's and women's track and field participants will have a busy day on Friday at the NJCAA Division III Outdoor Track And Field Championships in Columbia, Md.
