Foday Paces Prince George's Track And Field At Towson Invitational

TOWSON, Md. – Mary Foday (District Heights, Md./Central) recorded two Top-12 finishes to pace the Prince George's Community College track and field team at the Towson Invitational on April 15.

Foday finished fifth in the 100m dash with a time of 12.55 and then finished first in her 200m dash heat and 12th overall with a time of 25.98. Along with Foday's points in the 100m dash, the 4x100m relay team placed eighth with a time of 50.00.

Hannah White (Bowie, Md./Charles Herbert Flowers) placed 27th in the 200m dash (27.30) while Ashley White (White Plains, Md./Prince Anne) was 42nd in the event (27.58).

The men's 4x400m relay posted a fourth-place standing (3:25.79) while Christy-Morel Andjalepou (Washington, D.C./Cardozo Education Campus) finished ninth in the 800m run with a time of 1:59.87 for the only Top-10 standings on the men's side.

Ari Wilson (Clinton, Md./Charles Herbert Flowers) placed 14th in the 400m dash (50.73) and Edwin Brown III was 18th in the 800m run (2:12.01) while Baladji Diakite (Upper Marlboro, Md./Largo) finished 32nd in the 200m dash (24.18) and Tommy Hunt III was 43rd in the race (24.87).

Each team posted five points in the competition with the men's team placing 14th and the women's team ending in 15th place.
