Track & Field Shows well at Coppin State
Baltimore, MD. – The Owls Track & Field team had a great showing at their last meet that was held on Friday, April 8, at Coppin State University. The program was well represented with male and female athletes who competed in various events such as long jump, triple jump, hurdles, relays, and long distance.
The Owls were one of two community colleges at the meet competing against other four year institutions such as Morgan State, Hampton, Delaware State, Wesley, Lincoln, Bowie State, Maryland Eastern Shore, and host Coppin State University. This was the Owls third competitive meet this season, as the team will compete every weekend in hopes of earning the right to compete at the NJCAA Nationals Championships on May 7, 2016.
The Owls next meet will be on Thursday, April 14 at Bowie State University. Start time for the first event is set for 2:00 PM.
