Bio

Coach Millwood joined the Owls coaching staff in the fall of 2013. Machel is a Prince George’s Community College alumni and former NJCAA All-American for the Owls in 1999. He scored 40 goals for the Owls that season and helped the team in reaching the fianl four. After graduating from Prince George’s Comunity College, Coach Millwood transfered to Towson University on a full athletic scholarship to represent the Tigers. In his two years representing the Tigers he was instrumental in capturing the conference title and helped the Tigers to their best ever finish in the NCAA Tournament. He was named to the All American and All Conference Teams. He is ranked 5th in goals scored and 7th in assist overall in Towson Tigers history with only two years played.

He graduated from Towson University with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration and a minor in Economics. He later earned his Masters degree in Financial Management at University of Maryland University College.

Machel Millwood currently holds the USSF “B” National coaching license and has over 9 years of coaching experience in youth/club and 2 years has an assistant at the college level . He Played 12 combined years professionally in the (MLS) Major League Soccer, (USL)A-League, and (MISL) Major Indoor Soccer League. 

Accomplishments:

U-13 National Champions with Baltimore Celtic Darby 2015

Represented the U.S.A National Futsal Team in CONCACAF and other International Tournaments and is recognized as the first player to score 5 goals in 1 International Futsal game for the USA.

Won 4 MISL Championships With Baltimore Blast-2006, 2008,2009, 2012.

Named to the All League Team 7 times

MVP of the 2006 MISL finals with overtime winning goals in semi-finals and finals.

2008 Finalist of the (USL) A-league with Atlanta Silverbacks

Two time All League member of the USL
