Owls Travel to Face MD JUCO Opponent Montgomery

Tomorrow, October 15th, the Prince George's men's soccer team will travel to Germantown, Maryland to take on Montgomery County College. The Owls are fresh off of a 3-2 road victory against Union County College which took place just this past Sunday, October 13th. In the victory, one of the team's leading scorers in sophomore Brandon Betts added another goal and an assist to his seasons totals. Freshman Franklin Urrutia found his footing and scored both his first and second goals of the season in the much needed win.

The Owls (9-2-1, 7-2-1) will have their hands full against a strong Montgomery team that is averaging over four goals a game. Prince George's will look to silence the Raptors attack with their own stout defense which is allowing less than a goal per game. The Raptors (13-5, 9-2) last match ended in a 3-2 overtime loss against Lackawanna College at home on Thursday, October 10th.

The last time the two teams met ended in a 1-0 Montgomery win on October 19th, 2018. The Owls will look for a different outcome this time around as they close out their last regular season away game of the 2019 season against the Maryland JUCO opponent. Tomorrow's match is set to begin at 4:00 p.m.
